Designed around adult-learning principles, every activity is chosen for its metaphor strength and debriefed against your business challenges. Activity Catalogue and Learning Themes
The activity catalogue spans low-element challenges like blind-fold trails and raft-building, mid-element activities such as commando bridges and tower climbs, plus high-element experiences including night treks and river-crossing in the western ghats. Themes mapped to business include collaborative decision-making under uncertainty, leading from the back, structured risk-taking, conflict resolution and creative problem-solving. Activities are sequenced over a half-day, full-day or two-day arc with structured reflection sessions in between.
Venues, Safety and Facilitation
Preferred venues include resorts in Lonavala, Karjat, Igatpuri, Mahabaleshwar, Bhandardara and Saputara, all within a comfortable drive from Pune, Mumbai, Nashik or Aurangabad. Each activity follows a layered safety protocol - certified equipment, redundant belay systems, registered nurses on standby and weather-adaptive contingency plans. Lead facilitators are AEE or international ropes-course certified, while debrief facilitators are senior corporate trainers from Avinash Chate's bench, ensuring high-quality reflection.
Learning Transfer and Sustenance
What separates this programme from a corporate picnic is the rigour of debrief and transfer. Every activity ends with a structured What-So What-Now What conversation linked to live business issues. Teams leave with a Sahyadri Charter that is reviewed thirty, sixty and ninety days later. Sponsors receive a programme report with photographs, safety log and qualitative behavioural observations.
