AI video for marketing teams is now practical: Nano Banana, Veo and HeyGen let your own people make product visuals in-house. Here is what to approve and what to avoid.

Yes, a marketing team can now make decent product visuals and short videos in-house using Nano Banana for images, Veo for clips and HeyGen for presenter videos, without a studio or an agency for every job. The catch is that a person must approve every output. NASSCOM-Deloitte estimates India needs 1.25 million AI professionals by 2027, so teams that learn this early will be ahead.
TL;DRA marketing team can make product images, short product clips, social videos, explainer videos with a presenter, and regional-language versions of the same message. These are the jobs that used to wait for an agency or a shoot date. I run my own businesses with more than a dozen AI agents, so I see daily how much routine work these tools absorb. The point is not to replace your designer. It is to let your team produce the first draft quickly so the designer spends time on the part that needs taste.
Think of it as a relay. Nano Banana, Google's image model, creates or edits the product visual from your brief. Veo, Google's video model, can animate that visual into a short clip. HeyGen adds a presenter avatar who speaks your script, and it can produce the same video in more than one language. A brand manager who writes a clear brief can move through all three in an afternoon. Tools change fast, so I follow live sessions on the newest releases and teach what works this month. See the AI training for sales and marketing teams page for the format.
| Tool | Best used for | Human check needed |
|---|---|---|
| Nano Banana | Product images, backgrounds, edits | Text in image, logo, accuracy of product |
| Veo | Short product and social clips | Motion glitches, claims, brand look |
| HeyGen | Presenter and multi-language explainers | Script facts, pronunciation, consent for any likeness |
Never trust AI with facts about your product. It will happily invent a feature, a certification or a price. Never let it show a real person, a competitor logo or a customer without written permission. Always check text inside images, because spelling and numbers still go wrong. Your brand colours and logo should be placed by a person. The rule I give every team: AI drafts, a human approves, and one named person owns the approval. If nobody owns it, nothing should be published.
Start with one product and one real brief. Collect the approved product photos, the three claims you are allowed to make, and the tone you want. Ask the tool for five variations, pick two, and have the owner review them against the claim list. Save the prompts that worked in a shared Notion page so the next person does not start from zero. Do this for two weeks before you widen it. Teams that jump straight to ten campaigns get ten messy outputs and lose trust in the tool.
Costs vary by tool plan, volume and how much polish you need, so check the current pricing pages before you budget. In general the tool subscriptions are small next to agency production fees, but the real saving is time: no waiting for a brief to travel out and back. The hidden cost is review time, which you must plan for. For a wider view, read my earlier post on turning one product brief into a month of content.
Training works best when the team brings its own products and briefs, so every person leaves with outputs they can use on Monday. I cover the tools, prompt writing, the approval rule, brand safety and a simple workflow for the whole team. Details are on the AI training for corporates page. Not entirely. It replaces routine first drafts and quick variations. Agencies and designers still add strategy, taste and polish, and a person must approve what goes out.
Start with Nano Banana for images, then Veo for short clips and HeyGen for presenter videos. Tools change quickly, so pick based on your current briefs and check current plans.
It is safe when a named person checks every claim, every piece of text in the image, and any use of a real person's likeness before publishing. Never let AI invent product facts.
