This idea is not new. Systems thinker and business professor Russell L. Ackoff said it best decades ago, and his words still hit like a hammer on Indian leadership today. Ackoff was one of the sharpest systems thinkers of the twentieth century. He studied why organisations fail, and his conclusion was blunt and uncomfortable: "We fail more often because we solve the wrong problem than because we get the wrong solution to the right problem." — Russell L. Ackoff Read that again. We do not fail because our solutions are bad. We fail because we are solving the wrong problem in the first place.
