Success Is Just the Quality of Your Decisions Dalio's whole philosophy rests on a single equation that I have come to live by. Your success in life is nothing more than the sum of the quality of your decisions. And the quality of your decisions depends entirely on one thing: how clearly you see reality. This is why I open so many of my sessions by asking people to become hyper-realists. Not pessimists. Not blind optimists who paper over problems with motivation. Hyper-realists who look at what is, before they decide what to do about it. Feedback is the breakfast of champions.
